Father’s stroke sets off a tale of three days and two nights in the life of one family. Because of it both sons and their partners turn up at their parents’ place at a secluded place in the countryside. After a long time they are all together in one place. Time almost comes to a standstill, the reverential mood invites meditations about the fundamental questions of life. Inconspicuous, strange coincidences point their paths in unpredictable directions. A restrained movie which relies on the audience’s active participation brings back to Czech cinematography a spiritual dimension.
